HOW TO APPLY
Sun and Stars College is a co-educational private institution consisting of Basic 7-9, as well as SS1-3. All applicants are required to complete and submit an application form (obtainable in the school administrative office as well as online) before they can sit for the entrance exam.
BASIC 7(JSS 1; JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL YEAR 1)
All basic 7 applicants are required to sit for an entrance exam and will be assessed based on the results of the exam. Former academics and behavioral records may also be considered but places are offered based on merit only.
SS1 (SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL YEAR)
All applicants are required to sit for an entrance exam and will be assessed based on the results of the exam together with their respective JSS3(Basic 9 equivalent) results. Subjects studied at the level are grouped into three categories; Arts, Social Science and Science (See Curriculum). The applicant’s result at the JSS level will determine which category they are best suited for.
TRANSFER TO OTHER CLASSES
All transfer applicants are required to sit for an entrance exam. Places will be offered on merit based on the results of the entrance exam and availability of space in the class required.
Transcripts from the previous school may also be considered.
